Students who complete an AP exam with a 3, 4 or 5 or an IB course with a 5, 6, or 7 can turn their scores in for possible BYU credit. The credit you receive may fulfill specific graduation requirements, give you elective hours, and save you some tuition dollars.
Click the do it button on the 'AP/IB Credit' task to view the AP/IB guide. It will help you understand what tests fulfill what credit requirements at BYU.
- In order for your AP/IB test scores to give you credit, you need to make sure BYU gets all your official scores. Check your Record Summary to see if all your AP/IB credit has been added. If it hasn't, come to the Registrar's Office in B-150 ASB and log in to your AP CollegeBoard account so that your scores can be verified and added to your BYU record.
- IB scores should be sent to BYU OneStop, A-41 ASB, Provo, UT 84602.
