Enrollment Tools

We want to help you navigate your time at BYU so that you can focus on your reason for being here—being a student. To do that we've provided tools help you manage your educational record and university account. Allow us to introduce you to the most commonly used enrollment tools:

MyBYU is a type of launch site that centralizes common campus-wide services and systems for students. You can personalize myBYU to display the tabs, quick links, and widgets you find most helpful.

My Financial Center

My Financial Center is where you go to do most things related to your university financial account. From here, you'll pay tuition and charges, manage financial aid and scholarships, monitor Cougar Cash, and set up direct deposit just to name a few.

YMessage is a secure form of communication between you and the university. From here you can discuss individual concerns and receive important notifications regarding admissions & registration, financial, academic advisement, student health plan, student records, and more.

Note that you will be notified by email when new items require your attention in YMessage.

MyMAP will help you register for classes and plan for future semesters, view your current class schedule, and view an official report of your completed college work.

Guest Access

Guest Access allows you to give another person access to your BYU account. You can grant access to selected accounts including your academic, financial, and personal accounts.

Note that we will not discuss your account or records with your parent, spouse or other third party unless Guest Access is granted.

Cougar Cash

Cougar Cash is a way to pay for purchases using your BYU ID card, similar to a debit card. You decide how much and how often you want to add funds. Cougar Cash is preferred at locations across campus and some services only accept Cougar Cash as a form of payment.

University Catalog

The University Catalog is BYU's definitive guide to programs (majors and minors) and courses offered, as well as policies and procedures. Search complete lists of colleges, departments, programs, courses, general education, policies, and other BYU information.

The BYU app allows you to access useful information on the go. You can get a digital copy of your ID card, map your classes, look up your on-campus job work hours, send YMessages, and so much more. You'll want this on your mobile device to stay in touch with the university.
