Presented by the Office of First-Year Experience, Jumpstart is a series of online recordings available for viewing, to prepare you to come to BYU. These sessions are offered after you receive your acceptance notification. Topics include:
- Welcome: Dates and Deadlines: What do you need to do before you get to campus? This timeline presentation includes to-dos such as housing, financial aid, and course registration.
- Class Registration: Learn to use MyMAP, BYU's course registration system, and find out more about major and general education requirements.
- Technology Essentials: Discuss options for computers, software, and printing. Learn how campus wireless works and about other custom BYU systems such as Learning Suite (BYU’s course management tool).
- Financial Planning: How much will it cost to go to college, and how will you pay for it?
